Prime Minister Narendra Modi today hailed scientists for the successful
test-firing of 'Agni V' and said the missile is a prized asset for the
country's forces.
"Successful test-firing of Agni V from a canister makes the missile a prized asset for our forces. I salute our scientists for their efforts," he tweeted.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also lauded the efforts of scientists and
engineers in successful test-firing of Agni-V, a nuclear-capable
missile.
