Militants changing tactics to sneak into India: Army

General Officer Commanding (GOC), 16 Corps, Lt General K H Singh told reporter that suicide attacks in border areas is a changed trend of militants to sneak into our territory.

He said that 200 to 250 militants are active across the border.

Lt General Singh was replying to the militant strategy in the wake of recent  suicide attacks by terrorists in Arnia belt of Jammu border and Uri sector of Kashmir border.

The Army officer said that militants are "desperate" to infiltrate and are attacking in groups to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
