Order to act against Indian insurgents in Bangladesh: Delegate

"We were instructed to launch operations if any Indian insurgents use the soil of Bangladesh for causing subversive activities in Indian side. We have also conducted a number of operations against them," Director of 54 Border Guard Battalion of Bangladesh Lt Colonel Kazi Mahamudunnabi said.

Bangladesh has decided to set up five more border outposts in the Chittagong Hill Tract areas bordering Dhalai district of Tripura for better vigil and stop cross border movement of insurgents, he said.

Md Hasanujjamad Kallol, Deputy Commissioner of Comilla said, "We want proper sharing of water from the Gomati, which flows through Comilla."

The 30-member Bangladesh team leader District Magistrate of Feni Humayan Kabir Khanderkar said, "We work at the district level and face various border-related issues and such meetings will help us to address them through dialogues."

The Bangladeshi team comprises five district magistrates, representatives of police, paramilitary forces and border guards.

From the Indian side, Dr Prashant Kumar Goyal, District Magistrate of Sipahijala said "We have discussed issues like joint border management, border smuggling, human trafficking, border crimes, infiltration and cross border movements of insurgents or terrorists."

"Although Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India in September was a big success, the effect of border confrontation during the visit on leaders' conversations is evident," the article in Global Times said.
  
"Furthermore, the Modi government needs to eliminate two misconceptions when developing relations with China. First, India thinks China should make concessions on border disputes because China is facing pressure from the east. Second, India believes China would turn to India for help to digest its excess capacity and huge foreign reserves," it said.
  
China is floating a number of initiatives like new Silk Road and Maritime Silk Road besides Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which observers say is aimed at investing its roughly USD four trillion of foreign exchange reserves.
  
China committed USD 20 billion to invest in two industrial parks in India during Xi's visit and India was stated to be a safe destination for Chinese overseas investment unlike Africa and the Middle East.
  
"Border issues are the largest obstacle for bilateral relations, but they can only be resolved by mutual understanding and mutual accommodation," said the article, written by a scholar from the official Shanghai Institute of International Studies.
  
"India sees the Indian Ocean within its own sphere of influence, with the intervention of other powers forbidden. China's increasing cooperation with other Indian Ocean bcountries rankle India. It has used this as an excuse to energetically develop its navy," the article said in an apparent reference to India's reservations over Chinese submarine docking in Colombo harbour.
  
Since the beginning of the 21st century, the focus of India's "Look East" policy gradually expanded from economic and cultural fields to strategic and security fields, and from Southeast to Northeast Asia, it said.
  
"India interfered in South China Sea disputes by declaring that it would cooperate with Vietnam on oil fields exploitation in this region," the article said.
  
Prime Minister Narendra Modi needs to maintain stable relations with China, Pakistan and other countries, and needs to absorb investment and technologies from countries like China, Japan and Singapore, it said.
  
The article noted that China's Silk Road economic belt, the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, the Bangladesh-China- India-Myanmar Economic Corridor (BCIM) and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are part of a geo-economic "Indo-Pacific" plan.
  
"In order to realise the 'Indo-Pacific Era', China and India should overcome both foreign and domestic obstacles," it said.

Obama praises PM Modi for shaking India's 'bureaucratic inertia'

However, Obama said that this was a long-term project and one would have to see how successful Prime Minister Modi is in his efforts.

"Modi has impressed me so far with his willingness to shake up the bureaucratic inertia inside of India. But that is a long-term project and we'll have to see how successful he is," Obama told a business roundtable, which was attended by top corporate leaders of the country.

The roundtable was organised to discuss the current economic condition of US and across the globe.

Last month in Myanmar on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit, Obama in his brief interaction with Modi had told him that he is a "man of action".

On his return from the 10-day trip to the Asia Pacific region that took him to Beijing, Myanmar and Australia, Obama announced that he has accepted an invitation to be the chief guest at the annual Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26 next year.

In his interaction at the business round table, Obama said the US, over the last six years, has put more people back to work than Europe, Japan, and the rest of the advanced world combined.

The growth of emerging markets have been slower than anticipated, he noted.

Developed countries should compensate for emissions: India

Susheel Kumar, interim head of the Indian delegation, said India's goal on adaptation during the UN climate change summit talks here is for it "to be there in the entire text."

"We would also like a long-term global goal for adaptation to be clearly articulated in qualitative and
quantitative terms." Kumar said, adding that "for a developing country, adaptation becomes a more immediate need (than mitigation)."

Ministerial-level talks will begin next week which will be attended by Environment Minister Prakash Javedkar on December 7.

"India has always been a strong champion for equity," Kumar said.

India would like developed countries to compensate developing nations for the effects their emissions have had on climate.

India believes that developed countries should be held responsible for their high levels of emissions which have caused harm to developing countries, like itself. That responsibility should come in the form of compensation and a fair 2015 Paris agreement.

He explained that it is "not equitable to talk about what a country is emitting now" because that country could be currently reducing their emissions.

However, Kumar said that fact "does not absolve them of all (past) sins."

He also referred to the Germanwatch's Global Climate Risk Index 2015, a study measuring which countries suffer from the most extreme weather-related events based on data from 1994-2013, as a way to quantify adaptation.

India ranks third behind the Philippines and Cambodia in vulnerability but the index does not take into account India's much larger population compared to the other two countries.

Along with state climate action plans submitted by 29 states to the Parliament, Kumar also mentioned the efforts of the government through the National Adaptation Fund, the goal of which is to provide capacity building, technology and financial support to domestic adaptation projects.

Indian doctor saves Pakistani boy's leg from amputation

Muhammad Asad Yamin, 19, returned to Bahrain on Tuesday following the successful surgery at Welcare Hospital in Gujarat.

Yamin suffers from Milroy's disease and had a condition called lymphedema, which causes fluid retention and tissue welling, which affects his ability to walk.

Yamin was admitted to King Hamad University Hospital in Bahrain in October where doctors recommended amputation below the knee to prevent any infection spreading to his vital organs.

However, he has undergone knee replacement surgery in India and his father Muhammad Yamin Yasin said that he  was able to stand and walk without assistance.

The surgery was paid for with money collected during a fundraising drive in Bahrain and was carried out by chief arthroplasty and orthopaedic surgeon Dr Bharat Modi.
  
"We are so happy that within just a month our son not only had a successful surgery, but is now able to stand and walk on his own," Yasin said.
  
"Doctors in Bahrain earlier said they would amputate his leg and we were afraid, thinking he would never be able to walk again. But thanks to Dr Modi and his team who treated my son I am so happy to see him walking in front of me," he said.

New HIV cases down by 57 percent, India now aims for zero infection

On World AIDS Day, Union Health Minister J P Nadda on Monday sought people's involvement to make the mission success, saying governments or NGOs alone cannot deal with the challenge successfully.

Launching the helpline number - 1097, a digital resource centre and a supply chain management system for HIV patients, Nadda said, "It's the work of every individual to come out and fight it (HIV) out. There should be zero discrimination against people with HIV. This should be our commitment."

Stressing on the importance of "restraint" and "precaution", he said it was time for people to consider their lifestyle, noting that preventive health care has become important after an era when it was considered that antibiotics can "cure everything". "We should be working on two fronts. We should be aware and put special emphasis on prevention and help those living with HIV and AIDS so that they face no discrimination," he said in his address.

Indo-Pak talks not at the cost of dignity, self-respect: Nawaz Sharif

He told reporters on his return from Kathmandu where he attended the SAARC Summit at which he and Modi shook hands, that Pakistan was against "talks for the sake of talking".
  
"The meeting of the foreign secretaries has been cancelled but we can exchange greetings. We can at least ask about each other's well-being. We shook hands," he said on his first brief interaction with Modi at the SAARC retreat at Dhulikhel yesterday.
  
Sharif said he twice shook hands with his Indian counterpart and exchanged pleasantries at the SAARC Summit. 
  
He said Pakistan desires a "meaningful" dialogue to resolve all issues including the Kashmir dispute.
  
Sharif also stated that if India wants to restore ties, the Kashmir issue must be discussed and "that too seriously with full sincerity".
  
"Foreign Secretary level talks were cancelled by India. Pakistan's dignity, self respect and reputation should not be marred. Keeping this in mind, talks should be result-oriented.
  
"If both sides want to solve the problem forever we should have serious talk over the contentious issues, including Kashmir," he said.
  
"We shouldn't just talk for the sake of talking, intention should be right. We should move ahead with right intentions," Sharif said.
  
Sharif said India should not have cancelled the Foreign Secretary-level talks, insisting that there was "nothing new" in consulting Kashmiri leaders ahead of a dialogue.
  
"We had been talking to the Kashmiri leaders in the past whenever Pakistan-India talks are held. This is nothing new as we have to seek the opinion of the Kashmiri leaders on an issue that concerns them the most," Sharif said.
  
Consultations held by Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi with Kashmiri separatists led to the cancellation of Foreign Secretary-level talks in Islamabad in August. Since then both countries have maintained that they are willing to engage in a meaningful dialogue provided the other side takes the initiative.
  
Sharif said that India should not have cancelled the Foreign Secretary-level talks as was agreed upon during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi following his swearing in at New Delhi in May.

40 Indian prisoners released from Karachi jail

The release of the prisoners from Karachi's district jail Malir comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif warmly shook hands and exchanged pleasantries at the 18th SAARC Summit in Nepal.

The released Indian prisoners included 36 fishermen and four others, Anwar Kazmi, told a spokesman of Edhi Foundation charity,

"Our organization is providing transport to take them to Wagah border with a packet containing clothes for their families and Rs 10,000 in cash to each of the released prisoners," Kazmi said.
  
They will be taken to Lahore and handed over to Indian authorities at the Wagah border.
  
It was not officially known when the fishermen were arrested but a local channel reported that they were held about a year ago.

The government so far has not commented on the release but an official said on anonymity that it was a goodwill gesture and the arrested Indians were set free on humanitarian grounds.

"When Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited India in May, we released 151 prisoners," the official said.
  
He said India should also release Pakistani prisoners and fishermen. India and Pakistan regularly arrest fishermen who venture into unmarked territorial waters of the two countries.

अमेरिका द्वारा मोदी को वीजा देने से इन्कार के मुद्दे पर सिन्हा ने कहा कि यह कोई जरूरी नहीं है कि हर सरकार द्वारा लिया गया हर फैसला हमेशा सही ही हो। मोदी को वर्ष 2002 के गुजरात दंगों के बाद वर्ष 2005 में मानवाधिकारों के कथित उल्लंघन को लेकर अमेरिका ने वीजा देने से इन्कार किया था।

भाजपा नेता ने यह भी कहा कि अब तकनीक इतनी उन्नत हो गई है कि मोदी को यहां की जनता को संबोधित करने के लिए इस देश में व्यक्तिगत रूप से आने की जरूरत नहीं है।

वह कभी भी भारत से यहां की जनता को संबोधित कर सकते हैं। पहले मोदी का विरोध और फिर मोदी के पक्ष में यू टर्न लेने के बारे में पूर्व फिल्म अभिनेता ने कहा, मैंने यू टर्न नहीं लिया है बल्कि सही समय पर सही टर्न लिया है।

Modi to lay foundation stone of Sardar Patel statue today

अहमदाबाद। गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुरुवार को आजाद भारत के पहले गृहमंत्री सरदार पटेल की विशाल प्रतिमा का भरूच में शिलान्यास किया। इस मौके पर उनके साथ भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता लालकृष्ण आडवाणी भी साथ थे। अपने भाषण में मोदी ने कहा कि पटेल किसी पार्टी के नहीं थे बल्कि देश की धरोहर थे। उन्होंने सरदार सरोवर बांध का काम पूरा न होने के लिए केंद्र सरकार को आड़े हाथों लिया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस बांध का काफी हद तक काम पूरा हो चुका है लेकिन इस बांध पर गेट न लगने से इसकी शुरुआत नहीं हो सकी है। इस मौके पर आडवाणी ने कहा कि यदि पटेल न होते तो देश टुकड़े-टुकड़े हो जाता। 

इस मौके पर नरेंद्र मोदी ने पीएम मनमोहन सिंह की उनके उस बयान के लिए प्रशंसा की जिसमें उन्होंने सरदार पटेल को सेक्यूलर बताया था। मोदी ने कहा कि आज देश को वोट बैंक की राजनीति से निजात दिलाने की जरूरत है। उन्होंने भारत की सांझी विरासत को संजोने और इसको नष्ट न होने देने के लिए आहवान किया। मोदी ने मंच से केंद्र पर निशाना साधा कि इस बार पहली बार ऐसा हुआ है कि केंद्र सरकार में आज के दिन सरदार पटेल को याद किया गया है। पटेल के इस स्मारक में एक डिजिटल व‌र्ल्ड होगा जिसमें सात लाख गांव का ब्यौरा दर्ज होगा। 

उन्होंने आने वाली पीढी को इतिहास को जानने और समझने का भी आहवान किया। मोदी ने कहा कि इतिहास से विमुख होकर हमने अपने समाज को टूटने नहीं देना है। मोदी ने कहा कि जब उन्होंने महात्मा गांधी का मंदिर बनाया तो किसी ने आकर उनसे सवाल नहीं किया, लेकिन अब जब सरदार पटेल की मूर्ति की बात हुई तो कहा जा रहा है कि मोदी भाजपा से हैं और सरदार पटेल कांग्रेसी थे। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मूर्ति देश की एकता का प्रतीक है, क्योंकि यह मूर्ति देश के घरों से मिले लोहे से तैयार होगी। 

सरदार पटेल की विशाल प्रतिमा को मोदी की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना माना जा रहा है। इसका नाम स्टेच्यू ऑफ यूनिटी रखा गया है। लोहे की इस विशाल प्रतिमा के लिए ठेका बुर्ज खलीफा बनाने वाली कंपनी को दिया गया है। इस मूर्ति के लिए पहले ही गुजरात सरकार सौ करोड़ रुपये पास कर चुकी है। 182 मीटर ऊंची यह मूर्ति बनने के बाद दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी मूर्ति होगी। यह स्टेच्यू ऑफ लिबर्टी से दोगुना बड़ी होगी। आज सरदार पटेल का जन्मदिन भी है।

182 मीटर ऊंची यह प्रतिमा नर्मदा नदी पर बने सरदार सरोवर बांध के करीब साधु बेत पर बननी है। निर्माण के बाद दुनिया की यह सबसे ऊंची प्रतिमा होगी। मोदी ने इस प्रतिमा के लिए किसानों से लोहा दान करने की अपील की है। गुरुवार को ही मोदी अपने मंत्रिमंडल का विस्तार करेंगे। यह अमेरिका की मशहूर स्टेच्यू ऑफ लिबर्टी से दोगुना ऊंची होगी।

मूर्ति का निर्माण कार्य दो चरणों में पूरा किया जाएगा। पहले चरण में ही 2000 करोड़ रुपये का खर्च होने का अनुमान है। चीन की 153 मीटर ऊंची स्प्रिंग टेंपल बुद्धा मूर्ति इसकी नजदीकी प्रतिद्वंद्वी होगी। इस बीच स्टैचू ऑफ यूनिटी की नींव रखे जाने से पहले मोदी ने अपने ब्लॉग पर लिखा, इस साल सरदार पटेल की जयंती ज्यादा खास होगी क्योंकि हम स्टैचू ऑफ यूनिटी की नींव रखने जा रहे हैं। भारत के लौह पुरुष के सम्मान में बनाई गई यह मूर्ति 182 मीटर की होगी और दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची मूर्तियों में होगी।

Expansion essential to make UNSC credible: India

संयुक्त राष्ट्र। भारत ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में सुधार की जरूरत पर जोर देते हुए कहा है कि इस विश्व संस्था को विश्वसनीय बनाने के लिए इसका विस्तार जरूरी है। भारत के मुताबिक अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय का सुरक्षा परिषद में भरोसा बनाए रखने के लिए यह जरूरी है कि इसकी सदस्यता बढ़ाई जाए।

मंगलवार को 'सुरक्षा परिषद के काम करने के तौर तरीके' विषय पर खुली बहस के दौरान सांसद अश्विनी कुमार ने कहा कि सुरक्षा परिषद के कार्य में वास्तविक रूप में सुधार के लिए जरूरी है कि इसकी स्थायी और अस्थायी सदस्यता में वृद्धि की जाए। कुमार ने कहा कि भारत का विचार है कि समकालीन वास्तविकताओं के अनुरूप संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में सुधार करने का समय आ गया है। यह बात स्पष्ट है कि यदि समकालीन वास्तविकताओं के अनुरूप सुरक्षा परिषद का विस्तार किया जाता है तो इसके प्रतिनिधित्व की प्रकृति में बदलाव आएगा और इसके द्वारा लिए गए निर्णयों की विश्वसनीयता बढ़ेगी। भारत का मानना है कि सुरक्षा परिषद की कार्य पद्धति में वास्तविक सुधार के लिए प्रक्रिया और दृष्टिकोण दोनों में बदलाव की जरूरत है।'

Tharoor's video address cut off for criticising Pakistan

इस्लामाबाद। संघर्ष विराम उल्लंघन के लिए पाकिस्तान सरकार को जिम्मेदार ठहराने के बाद इस्लामाबाद में अचानक शशि थरूर का वीडियो संबोधन रोक दिया गया। भारत और पाकिस्तान के उद्यमियों को वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के जरिये संबोधित कर रहे भारतीय मानव संसाधन मंत्री थरूर ने कहा था कि पाकिस्तान सरकार का अपने देश की सेना पर कोई नियंत्रण नहीं है।

दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने के मकसद से मंगलवार यहां जिन्ना सभागार में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में थरूर ने पाकिस्तान की आलोचना कर भारतीय उच्चायोग के अधिकारियों तक को सकते में डाल दिया। कार्यक्रम में भारतीय उच्चायुक्त टीसीए राघवन व दूसरे उच्चायोग के अन्य अफसरों के अलावा 22 भारतीय प्रतिनिधि भी हिस्सा ले रहे थे।

करीब नौ मिनट के वीडियो संबोधन में उन्होंने कहा, भारत पाकिस्तान के साथ कश्मीर समेत सभी मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए शिमला समझौते के तहत बातचीत के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है, लेकिन इसके लिए आतंकवाद और हिंसा रहित माहौल बनाना जरूरी है। थरूर ने कहा, 'हालांकि पांच साल पहले मुंबई हमले और हाल ही में सीमा पर बढ़ी घुसपैठ ने पाकिस्तान के आधिकारिक बयानों और सैन्य कार्रवाई के बीच विरोधाभास को उजागर कर दिया है। 

यह बताता है कि पाकिस्तान की सरकार का अपनी सेना पर पूर्ण नियंत्रण नहीं है। पाकिस्तान की तरह भारत में सेना विदेश नीति तैयार नहीं करती।' 

वैसे, थरूर ने भाषण की शुरुआत तो दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापारिक रिश्ते को बढ़ावा देने की जरूरत के साथ किया था, लेकिन बाद में पाकिस्तान की आलोचना शुरू कर दी। थरूर ने कहा, 'पाक सरकार जिस दिन आतंकवाद को अपने देश की नीति के औजार के रूप में इस्तेमाल करना बंद कर देगी, उस दिन उपमहाद्वीप में शांति की नई सुबह होगी।' 

बताया जाता है कि थरूर के भाषण से सभागार में मौजूद करीब 300 लोगों के बीच तनाव का माहौल बन गया और उनका संबोधन रोक दिया गया।

ऊपरी सदन सीनेट में यह प्रस्ताव सीनेटर मार्क वार्नर और जॉन कॉर्निन ने प्रस्तुत किया। दोनों सीनेटर इंडिया कॉकस के सह अध्यक्ष हैं। दोनों ने भारत और अमेरिका की सरकारों और लोगों के बीच मजूबत संबंधों का समर्थन किया। पिछले सप्ताह सांसद जोए क्राउले और पीटर रोस्कमैन ने निचले सदन हाउस ऑफ रिप्रजेंटेटिव में दीपावली संबंधी प्रस्ताव पेश किया था। दोनों कांग्रेसनल कॉकस ऑन इंडिया एंड इंडियन अमेरिकंस के सह अध्यक्ष हैं। प्रस्ताव में भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकी और दुनिया भर में रह रहे प्रवासी भारतीयों के प्रति गहरा सम्मान व्यक्त किया गया। इसमें भारत और अमेरिका में धार्मिक विविधता की सराहना की गई है। इस साल पहली बार कैपिटल हिल (अमेरिकी संसद) में दीपावली मनाई जाएगी। इसमें बड़ी संख्या में सांसदों के भाग लेने की संभावना है। क्राउले ने कहा कि दीपावली का लाखों भारतीयों और भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकियों के लिए बहुत महत्व है। मैं संसद में पहली बार मनाई जाने वाली दीपावली में शामिल होकर गौरवान्वित महसूस करूंगा। इसकेमाध्यम से सांसद, भारतीय मूल के विशिष्ट अमेरिकी और इस समुदाय के अन्य लोग एक दूसरे के नजदीक आ सकेंगे।

शंघाई इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंटरनेशनल स्टडीज के रिसर्च फेलो लियू जेंगयी द्वारा लिखे लेख में कहा गया है कि भारतीय मीडिया ने भारत और चीन के बीच के सीमा रक्षा सहयोग समझौते की सराहना की है। भारतीय मीडिया ने इसे भारत-अमेरिका असैन्य परमाणु समझौते के बाद सबसे महत्वपूर्ण और स्थायी राजनयिक उपलब्धि बताया है। 'डोमेस्टिक ऑब्सटेकल्स कीप डेल्ही फ्रॉम रियलिस्टिक इकोनॉमिक च्वाइसेस' शीर्षक वाले लेख में कहा गया है कि हाल की चीन यात्रा में सिंह ने व्यापार असंतुलन और चीन-पाकिस्तान संबंधों का मुद्दा भी उठाया। यह लेख मंगलवार को सरकारी ग्लोबल टाइम्स अखबार में प्रकाशित हुआ है। इसमें कहा गया है कि क्षेत्रीय आर्थिक सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए भारत में औद्योगिक पार्क और बांग्लादेश, चीन, भारत, म्यांमार (बीसीआइएम) इकोनामिक कोरिडोर को बनाने की चीन की योजना को पूरा नहीं किया गया। भारत में विदेशी निवेश के खिलाफ विपक्षी पार्टियों के रुख और सार्वजनिक विरोध को घरेलू बाधा बताया गया है। 

चीन ने पहली परमाणु पनडुब्बी सेवा से हटाई

परमाणु पनडुब्बी के बेड़े के पहले प्रदर्शन के बीच चीन ने अपनी पहली परमाणु पनडुब्बी को सेवा से हटा दिया है। यह पनडुब्बी पिछले 40 वर्षो से अधिक समय से सेवा में थी। पीपुल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी डेली की मंगलवार की रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि द लांग मार्च नंबर-एक परमाणु पनडुब्बी को सेवा से हटा दिया गया है और वैज्ञानिकों ने उस गोदाम को प्रदूषण मुक्त कर दिया है जिसमें कि पिछले 40 वर्षो से परमाणु सामग्री रखी हुई थी।

जागरण ब्यूरो, आजमगढ़। उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के काबीना मंत्री मोहम्मद आजम खां ने कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी और पाकिस्तानी खुफिया एजेंसी आइएसआइ के बीच रिश्ता होने का आरोप लगाकर सनसनी फैला दी है।

उन्होंने कहा कि मुजफ्फरनगर के जिन युवकों के आइएसआइ से रिश्ता है, राहुल उनका नाम सार्वजनिक करें। अगर वह ऐसा नहीं करते हैं तो अपने बयान के लिए माफी मांगें। 

आजम ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार अगर मुसलमानों की हमदर्द है तो फिर उन्हें आबादी के मुताबिक सरकारी नौकरियों में आरक्षण दे। आजमगढ़ में आयोजित सपा की रैली में आजम ने कहा, 'कांग्रेस के नेता राहुल गांधी न वजीर हैं-न सरकारी अधिकारी, फिर भी कोई आइबी अधिकारी उनके कमरे में कैसे पहुंच गया? अगर यह बात सच है तो आइबी के ऐसे अफसर को गिरफ्तार कर जेल में डालना चाहिए।'

Students involved in patna blast

पटना, [प्रशांत कुमार]। देश के भविष्य कहे जाने वाले छात्रों ने चंद रुपयों की खातिर लोगों की जान व अपने ईमान का सौदा कर डाला। आतंकियों के हाथ बिके इन छात्रों ने ही नरेंद्र मोदी की रैली के दौरान रविवार को गांधी मैदान में बम रखे थे। इसका खुलासा पुलिस गिरफ्त में आए इम्तियाज से पूछताछ में हुआ है। उसने एनआइए (राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी) को बताया कि वह और तहसीन अपनी टोली के साथ रांची से 18 बम लेकर पटना आए थे। जहां बमों को रैली स्थल पर लगाने का काम पटना के लॉज में रहकर पढ़ाई करने वाले कुछ छात्रों को दिया था। इसके बदले उन्हें दस-दस हजार रुपये दिए गए थे।

इम्तियाज ने बताया है कि इंडियन मुजाहिदीन ने ही बोधगया ब्लास्ट के बाद पटना में ब्लास्ट की साजिश रची गई थी। बोधगया ब्लास्ट की तरह पटना में भी टाइमर के रूप में लोटस ब्रांडनेम वाली घड़ी का इस्तेमाल किया गया। गांधी मैदान में बम ब्लास्ट से पहले वह तहसीन के साथ कई बार पटना आया। हर बार वे सब्जीबाग, भंवर पोखर और नया टोला स्थित लॉज में ठहरे और उनमें रहने वाले छात्रों को कौम से जुड़ी भड़काऊ सीडी एवं वीडियो दिखा संगठन से जोड़ने का प्रयास किया। रुपये के लोभ में फंसकर आठ छात्र उनके संगठन से जुड़ गए। जिनकी पढ़ाई का खर्चा बाद में आइएम उठाने लगा। हर माह किसी न किसी माध्यम से इन छात्रों तक रुपये पहुंचा दिए जाते थे। जांच एजेंसी ने उन छात्रों के नाम अभी गोपनीय रखे हैं।

इम्तियाज ने बताया कि रविवार को भी रांची से पहुंचने पर इन आठ छात्रों को लैपटॉप बैग के साथ मीठापुर बस स्टैंड बुलाया था। जहां सभी के बैग में टाइमर बम रखकर उन्हें बमों को सक्रिय करने की विधि भी बताई गई। सभी छात्रों को आतंकियों ने दस-दस हजार रुपये दिए और गांधी मैदान में बमों को रखने के लिए कहा। एनएसजी (राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा गार्ड) के पास इस बात के पुख्ता प्रमाण हैं सभी बम एक ही बनावट व तरीके के हैं। इम्तियाज के बयान से एनएसजी की इस जांच को बल मिला है कि गांधी मैदान में प्लांट सभी बम इसलिए नहीं फटे क्योंकि उन्हें रखने वालों को सही तरीके से प्रशिक्षण नहीं दिया गया था।

गांधी मैदान में पांच और बम मिले

जागरण संवाददाता, पटना : भाजपा के प्रधानमंत्री पद के उम्मीदवार नरेंद्र मोदी की रविवार को पटना में रैली के दौरान हुए सीरियल ब्लास्ट के 48 घंटे बाद मंगलवार को भी गांधी मैदान में पांच बम बरामद किए गए। जांच के दौरान राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा गार्ड (एनएसजी) के बम स्क्वायड ने रात आठ बजे तक बमों को विस्फोट करा नष्ट कर दिया है। 

पहला टाइमर बम सुबह 11 बजे एसके मेमोरियल हाल के दूसरे गेट के सामने अंदर की ओर मैदान की चारदीवारी पर रखा था। जबकि तीन बम एकसाथ टेंट के सामान से ढके मैदान के बीच मिले। इसके अलावा एक और बम गांधी मैदान के उत्तरी गेट के पास मैदान के भीतर मिला। सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने अधिक तीव्रता वाले बम बरामद होने के बाद गांधी मैदान की चारदीवारी को सील कर दिया गया है। मौके पर पुलिस महकमे के आला अधिकारी, राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (एनआइए) व एनएसजी की टीम, डाग स्क्वायड और बम स्क्वायड भी मौजूद हैं। चारदीवारी से सटी सड़क पर भी वाहनों का परिचालन बंद कर दिया गया है और मीडियाकर्मियों को 150 मीटर दूर रोक दिया गया है। इससे पहले एनएसजी दस्ते ने बाउंड्री पर सफेद रंग की प्लास्टिक से ढका बम बरामद किया था। इन बमों में चार को डिफ्यूज करने में एनएसजी टीम को भी पसीना छूट गया। लगभग चार घंटे की कवायद के बाद भी वह बम को डिफ्यूज नहीं कर सकी। उसके बाद बिहारी तकनीक यानी लकड़ी पर केरोसिन झिड़क आग लगा गर्म किया गया और बम डिफ्यूज हो सके।

पटना। खबरदार रैली के बहाने लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले माले ने फिर अपनी ताकत का अहसास कराया है। वीरचंद पटेल पथ लाल झंडों से पटा दिखा। भारी तादाद में लोग इकट्ठा हुए। यह वही सड़क है जिस पर भाजपा, राजद, जदयू और एनसीपी का राज्य कार्यालय है। यानी उनके दफ्तर के सामने माले नेता (मा‌र्क्सवादी) हुंकार भरते दिखाई दिए। 

माले ने भाजपा के साम्प्रदायिक उन्माद को देश के लिए सबसे बड़ी चुनौती बताते हुए लोगों से एकजुट होने और उसकी हर साजिश का डटकर मुकाबला करने की अपील की है।

मियांपुर और बाथे नरसंहार में अदालत से आरोपियों की रिहाई और भूमि सुधार कानून जैसे मसलों पर नीतीश सरकार की खिंचाई की वहीं महंगाई पर केंद्र सरकार की भरपूर आलोचना। नरेंद्र मोदी की हुंकार रैली में गांधी मैदान में हुए विस्फोटों के बाद जिला प्रशासन के अनुरोध के बाद माले को अंतिम समय में रैली का अपना स्थान बदलना पड़ा। गांधी मैदान के बदले वीरचंद पटेल पथ में एजी कार्यालय के समक्ष मंच पर नेताओं का जुटान हुआ तो जनता मुख्य सड़क पर।

आर ब्लॉक चौराहा से आयकर गोलंबर तक की सड़क आम यातायात के लिए प्रतिबंधित कर दी गई है। पहली बार इस सड़क का इस रूप में रैली के लिए इस्तेमाल हो रहा है। गांधी मैदान के द्वारों को भी माले ने शहीदों के नाम पर किया था, मगर रैली के एक दिन पूर्व पांच और बम मिलने से वहां रैली होने की रही-सही संभावना भी खत्म हो गई। पार्टी के राज्य सचिव कुणाल के अनुसार रैली में उत्तर प्रदेश, झारखंड, दिल्ली सहित विभिन्न राज्यों से लोग जुटे हैं।

नई दिल्ली। पटना के गांधी मैदान में गत 27 अक्टूबर को भाजपा की हुंकार रैली के दौरान श्रृंखलाबद्ध विस्फोटों में मारे गए लोगों के परिजनों से मिलने गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री और बीजेपी के पीएम उम्मीदवार नरेंद्र मोदी 2 नवंबर पटना जाएंगे।

बिहार के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री और भाजपा के वरिष्ठ नेता सुशील कुमार मोदी ने इसबात की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि नरेंद्र मोदी ने पटना में विस्फोटों में मारे गए लोगों के परिजनों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की है और वे पीड़ित परिजनों से मिलने विशेष हेलीकॉप्टर से पटना आएंगे।

गौरतलब है कि गत रविवार को हुंकार रैली को प्रधानमंत्री पद के भाजपा के उम्मीदवार नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा संबोधित किए जाने से पूर्व हुए विस्फोटों में छह लोगों की मौत हो गई थी और 83 अन्य घायल हो गए थे।

वहीं, दूसरी तरफ इस मामले में रांची से तीन और गिरफ्तारियां हुई हैं। गिरफ्तार हुए लोगों को इम्तियाज का रिश्तेदार बताया जा रहा है। इम्तियाज पर आरोप है कि उसने ही भाजपा द्वारा आयोजित हुंकार रैली में विस्फोट को अंजाम दिया था। इम्तियाज अभी बिहार पुलिस की गिरफ्त में है।

हाथरस। यह एक ऐसी अबला की कहानी है, जिसके बचपन में ही मां-बाप का साया सिर से उठ गया। रिश्तेदारियों में पली-बढ़ी और युवा हुई तो मैनपुरी में एक शोरूम पर नौकरी की। वहीं मालिक के बेटे को दिल दे बैठी। दोनों ने कोर्ट मैरिज व आर्यसमाज में शादी की। ससुरालियों ने विरोध किया तो हाथरस आकर अलग दुनिया बसा ली, मगर मुसीबत ने यहां भी पीछा नहीं छोड़ा।

उन्हें ढूंढते हुए ससुराली आए और अपने बेटे को साथ ले गए। अब वह तीन साल के बेटे को लेकर न्याय की गुहार करती फिर रही है। मूलरूप से फीरोजाबाद के सुहागनगर की रहने वाली कीर्ति के मां-बाप की मौत बचपन में हो गई थी। वह अनाथ हो गई। उसकी परवरिश पहले बुआ और बाद में मौसी ने की। मौसी मैनपुरी में रहती हैं। कीर्ति नौकरी के दौरान मालिक के बेटे अजरुन को दिल दे बैठी। नजदीकियां बढ़ीं तो बेटा पैदा हो गया। प्रेमी वफादार निकला।

अजरुन ने बेटे को अपनाते हुए सात माह पूर्व फीरोजाबाद कोर्ट में शादी कर ली। ससुरालियों को पता चला तो विरोध किया। जिस पर अजरुन ने घर छोड़ दिया, उसे लेकर मथुरा में रहने लगा। इसी दौरान अजरुन ने तीन माह पूर्व फीरोजाबाद आर्यसमाज में भी विवाह की रस्म अदा की। उधर, ससुराली उसके रिश्तेदारों को परेशान करने लगे तो वह और अजरुन हाईकोर्ट में शादी रजिस्टर्ड कराने जा रहे थे तभी फीरोजाबाद में पकड़ लिया। ससुराली बेटे को ले गए, उसे वहीं छोड़ गए। बाद में किसी तरह अजरुन उनके चंगुल से छूटकर कीर्ति के पास पहुंच गया और हाथरस आ गया। यहां नवीपुर में किराए पर कमरा लिया। ससुरालियों ने यहां भी पीछा नहीं छोड़ा और ढूढ़ते हुए आ गए।

हमीरपुर (उत्तर प्रदेश)। कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने आज उत्तर प्रदेश का सबसे पिछड़ा हिस्सा माने जाने वाले बुंदेलखंड में अपनी रैली की। बुंदेलखंड के हमीरपुर में अपनी रैली में राहुल ने कहा कि बुंदेलखंड को दिल्ली से नहीं, बल्कि पूरी दुनिया से जोड़ने की जरूरत है। उसे अमेरिका से जोड़ने की जरूरत है। अपने भाषण के ज्यादातर हिस्से में उन्होंने अपनी सरकार की उपलब्धियां गिनाई और एनडीए तथा उत्तर प्रदेश की सरकार पर हमला बोला।

राहुल गांधी ने कहा, 'हमने बुंदेलखंड को आठ हजार करोड़ का पैकेज दिलाया था। वो इसलिए दिलाया था ताकि आपको मुंबई या दिल्ली जैसे महानगर न जाना पड़े। आपकी मांगें बहुत छोटी हैं। आपमें कोई कमी नहीं है। यहां ऐसी सरकार दो, जो बुंदेलखंड को बदले।'

राहुल ने कहा कि जितनी सड़कें हमने पिछले पांच साल के दौरान बनाई, एनडीए ने उसकी सिर्फ एक-तिहाई बनाई। इसके अलावा उन्होंने कहा, 'हमने रोजगार योजना दी। लाखों-करोड़ों लोगों को रोजगार दिया। पहले लोग भटकते रहते थे। हमने 100 दिन के रोजगार की गारंटी दी। हमने भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ने के लिए आरटीआई कानून दिया। हम सबसे बड़ा कानून 'भोजन का अधिकार' लेकर आए।'

कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष ने बुंदेलखंड के लोगों को कहा कि केंद्र सरकार यहां पैसा भेजती है, लेकिन पैसा यहां तक पहुंचता ही नहीं है। उन्होंने राजस्थान में अशोक गहलोत की सरकार के विकास कार्यो का भी हवाला दिया। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश भारत का सबसे बड़ा राज्य है। यहां युवाओं की संख्या बहुत अधिक है। अखिलेश यादव पर निशाना साधते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि यहां का मुख्यमंत्री भी युवा है। वो चाहे तो इस प्रदेश का विकास कर सकता है, लेकिन हो नहीं रहा।
